About Our Foundation

The Sonny Lee Brown Foundation is a private foundation dedicated to honoring the philanthropic legacy of Wellington “Sonny” Brown and Loretta “Lee” Brown.

Our mission is to empower under-served communities in Jamaica by providing essential support in education, technology access, and family resources. We operate a variety of programs, including scholarships, school supplies, and financial assistance, aimed at helping individuals facing socio-economic challenges achieve their educational goals.

Additionally, we collaborate with other nonprofits to uplift marginalized communities and extend our support to hurricane relief efforts.

Our key scholarships, the Marcia "Joy" Brown Scholarship and the Polly "Kim" Brown Scholarship, are designed to assist deserving students in pursuing and achieving their career goals. Together, we strive to foster a brighter future for Jamaica's youth and create lasting change in their lives.
