Our Story

The Sonny Lee Brown Foundation was founded to honor the legacy resilience, and compassion of Wellington “Sonny” Brown and Loretta “Lee” Brown. They both shared a devoted love for Jamaica and a commitment to uplifting Jamaican communities across the island. They recognized the challenges faced by underserved populations, and they desired a way to bridge the gap by providing resources and opportunities that foster growth and development.

They passed their unwavering love for Jamaica, along with their compassion for uplifting those who are less fortunate, to their son, Nicholas “Nick” Brown, who has accepted the challenge and has taken the baton, in ensuring that their legacy and desires become a reality.

Our Mission

Our mission at the Sonny Lee Brown Foundation is to honor the enduring legacy of Wellington “Sonny” Brown and Loretta “Lee” Brown by empowering underserved communities in Jamaica.
